Product Overview
The JZGRD Series graphite digestion system is designed for batch laboratory sample preparation. It performs constant-temperature heating, wet-acid digestion and acid evaporation for 24 to 64 samples at a time. Fast heat-up, uniform temperature distribution and precise control make it suitable for food testing, environmental monitoring, geology, advanced materials and chemical analysis. It is an ideal sample-preparation companion for AAS, ICP and ICP-MS instruments.
How It Works
Embedded heating elements heat the high-purity graphite block as a single thermal mass. The graphite transfers heat evenly to every digestion position so that all inserted vessels are heated simultaneously under comparable conditions. A built-in sensor continuously measures block temperature, while the PID controller adjusts heating power to maintain the selected setpoint. During digestion, samples decompose in a strong-acid medium and target elements are converted into soluble ionic forms. After digestion, the temperature can be increased for acid evaporation, reducing residual acid concentration before instrumental analysis.
