Product Overview
The JZXL smart muffle furnace, also known as a box resistance furnace or high-temperature ashing furnace, is designed for laboratory heat treatment. Standard temperature classes include 1000°C and 1200°C, with custom 1400°C configurations available. Typical applications include ash and volatile-matter determination in coal, ashing of soil, ore and food samples, material sintering, annealing, ignition and loss-on-ignition testing.
The furnace combines a coated cold-rolled steel housing, a ceramic-fiber or high-alumina refractory chamber and an intelligent programmable temperature controller. Multi-stage heating programs, timed temperature holding and automatic shutdown support repeatable unattended workflows in power plants, coal-preparation plants, coking facilities, building-material laboratories, environmental testing organizations, universities and research institutes.
How It Works
Resistance heating elements generate heat that is transferred through radiation and convection inside the chamber. A thermocouple continuously measures furnace temperature and sends the signal to the PID controller. The controller compares the measured value with the setpoint and automatically adjusts solid-state relay output to maintain a stable temperature. Programmable versions can run predefined heating, holding and cooling stages. If the temperature exceeds the safety threshold or the door is opened, the protection circuit cuts power to the heating elements.
